MNF Recap Week 9

Time to hit you off with the Monday Night Football Recap for Week 9. Apologies to Falcons and Saints fans for missing Week 8, with that said, here is the Steelers/Broncos recap from last night.

Pittsburgh 28, Denver 10- Ben Roethlisberger went 21-29 for 233 yards and threw three touchdowns and Tyrone Carter took one of his two interceptions for 48 yards, and the Pittsburgh Steelers overwhelmed the Denver Broncos 28-10 for their fifth straight win, and to move into a first place tie with Cincinnati for first place in the AFC North, and sending the Broncos to their second straight loss, shrinking their lead on the San Diego Chargers to one game for first place in the AFC West. Rashard Mendenhall had a big game for the Steelers, rushing for 155 yards on 22 carries, and Hines Ward caught two touchdown passes as well. The Steelers gained 321 yards and scored 21 points in the second half. Carter did a good job replacing Ryan Clark who was held out of the game from his sickle-cell condition in which playing in high altitude (as he did in Denver two years ago) could complicate his health. The Steelers have a showdown at home against Cincy for first place in the AFC North. Should be a good one. Steelers (6-2), Broncos (6-2)

  1. No trackbacks yet.
