Monday Night Football Recap Week 13

The Monday Night Recap took our eyes to the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field as the Baltimore Ravens took on the Green Bay Packers in a game where playoff positioning was very important.

Baltimore 14, Green Bay 27- Aaron Rodgers threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns, and the Green Bay Packers overcame turnovers and penalties in defeating the Baltimore Ravens for their fourth straight win, and to put a solid hold on the NFC Wild Card picture, tied with the Philadelphia Eagles and a game ahead of the New York Giants. Rodgers hooked up with Jermichael Finley twice and Donald Driver once. The Packers defense came up big as well, intercepting Joe Flacco three times and the Ravens also made mental mistakes with penalties also. In fact, they were called for five pass interference penatlies, the most committed since the New York Giants in 2001 (according to STATS Inc.) The Ravens were without Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs for this game and Ray Rice was ineffective, only running for 54 yards and he lost a fumble as well. The loss puts a blow to the hopes of the playoffs for the Ravens, as they move into a tie with Pittsburgh, Miami, and the New York Jets, all of which are a game behind Jacksonville for the final Wild Card spot in the AFC. Ravens (6-6) Packers (8-4)

Next week, the NFC West may be won in San Francisco as the division leading Arizona Cardinals face the San Francisco 49ers.
